Billing & Payments
Changing or Canceling Your Plan
Where to manage CNX billing, what to confirm when changing support, and how month-13 ownership differs from a departure handoff.
Your subscription pays for agreed work and service. Ownership of qualifying customer-specific custom IP starts in month 13 of the subscription. Ownership and an operational handoff are separate.
Manage billing
- Sign in to your CNX dashboard.
- Open Settings, then Billing.
- Select Manage Billing to open the Stripe Customer Portal.
- Review the options available for your subscription and the confirmation details before making a change.
If the change you need is not available, or your engagement has individually agreed scope, contact CNX.
Confirm a change in support
Before moving to a lower or higher plan, confirm:
- Which services and deliverables continue, change or end.
- What happens to work already in progress.
- The effective date, recurring price and any billing adjustment.
There is no single effective-date or proration promise in this guide. Review the details for your subscription and ask CNX to clarify anything unclear before confirming.
Changing support does not create a new ownership trigger. The confirmed policy is ownership starting in subscription month 13.
Year-two choices
In year two, the same plan continues at the same price. You may continue, choose a lower plan or leave with your transferable work.
CNX maintenance ends when you leave. Before departure, agree the transferable inventory, dependencies and handoff process so you understand what your next provider or team needs to operate.
Before leaving
Ask CNX to confirm the custom work that qualifies for transfer, retained platform components, third-party licenses and ongoing provider costs. Ownership does not itself make every system independent of those dependencies.
If you are considering leaving before month 13, request clarification of the early-exit terms before acting. This guide does not promise an early transfer or define an early-exit charge.
