Message Your AI Team Over WhatsApp, Google Chat, SMS or Email
Reach your AI Agents on WhatsApp, Google Chat, SMS and email — no new app. Ask questions, get drafts, and approve actions from wherever you work.
You already have a phone in your pocket. That's all you need to direct your AI Agents as the owner — get drafts and answers from what your agents have been given, and approve actions before they happen — no new app, no new login.
This page is the owner command surface (you → your agents). For the customer-facing desk — AI Agents that answer inbound phone calls and WhatsApp, capture leads, and can be linked to an ordering or booking tool as part of the Business Partnership plan — see AI Agents on phone, WhatsApp, and ordering. That is the AI FrontDesk: voice · WhatsApp · web, properly managed and safely configured by expert humans. Nothing consequential runs without approval.

What Channels Work
Your AI Agents are reachable across the channels you already use every day:
- WhatsApp — Send a voice note or a text. Your agents read it, route it, and respond in plain language. Works on your personal number, no separate business account required.
- Google Chat — Message your team from Gmail or the Google Chat app. Useful if your staff or co-owners already use Google Workspace.
- SMS — Plain text from any phone. The simplest option if you don't use any messaging app consistently.
- Email — Reply to your agents by email and they reply back. Good for owners who want a written record in their inbox.
- Slack or Microsoft Teams — Not switched on by default. We can add either as a channel for your business inside the Business Partnership plan; say so on the call.
All four channels connect to the same AI team. A question you ask over WhatsApp gets the same answer as one you'd ask by email.
What a Real Exchange Looks Like
These are illustrative examples, not transcripts. They show the pattern: you ask, an agent drafts, you approve. The agent works from what you tell it or share with it (messages, files, email). Reading stock or sales from a POS such as Square, or invoices from QuickBooks, is a link that is part of the Business Partnership plan.*
* Some tools take longer and need a workaround. Connecting your tools is part of the Business Partnership plan. Tool names belong to their owners; naming one means we can work with it, not that they endorse or certify us. See what we connect.
Restaurant owner — Sunday morning ordering
Owner (WhatsApp): we're low on romaine and roma tomatoes, draft an order for Thursday
AI Ops: Draft ready for your usual supplier with those two items. I'll hold it for your approval.
Owner: approved
AI Ops: Approved. The order email is sent to the supplier from your address.
Retail owner — end of day
Owner (SMS): remind me what's open for tomorrow
AI Ops: Two things from your messages today: a supplier quote waiting for your reply,
and a shift swap request. Want drafts for both?
Owner: yes, don't send yet
AI Ops: Drafts saved for your review.
Professional services owner — quick mid-meeting check
Owner (Google Chat): draft a polite payment reminder to the client I flagged yesterday
AI Ops: Draft saved to your outbox. Tag me when you're ready to review.
Owner: will do, don't send yet
How It Works (The Short Version)
When you send a message, it reaches a routing layer that identifies your business, selects the right AI Agent for the topic, and delivers a response — all within seconds. Your agents work from the context set up for your business: your suppliers, your standing rules, the files you share. A Business Brain (a searchable record of that context) is a capability we can build for you inside a plan.
Where Humans Stay in the Loop
Not every message produces an action automatically. For any step that involves spending money, modifying records, sending communications externally, or taking an irreversible action, your AI Agents stop and ask for your approval before proceeding. You approve or decline from the same channel where you asked — no dashboard required, no separate login.
This design is called a human approval gate. The agents do the work of preparing the action. You decide whether it goes.
What This Means for Your Ownership
Your business context helps agents respond to your requests. Qualifying customer-specific custom IP ownership starts in subscription month 13. Exact transferable records, configuration, assets, licenses, and dependencies need specification for your engagement; CNX platform components and third-party messaging and model services remain separate. Ownership and a departure handoff are separate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my AI team read my private messages?
Your agents only process messages sent to the business channel — the same number or account you set up during initial setup. Personal messages on your WhatsApp or phone stay separate. Your agents are not monitoring your device; they respond when you initiate contact.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your agents are accessible from any device on any supported channel. Log into Google Chat from a new device or send an SMS from another number you've registered — access continues. Nothing critical about your business is stored only on your handset.
Can my team also message the AI?
Yes, with scoped access. Staff members can be connected to specific AI Agents with defined authority boundaries — for example, a floor manager who can ask for a draft order but cannot see financial files. Owner-level queries and approvals are reserved for the owner account.
Is this the same as a chatbot?
No. A chatbot answers questions from a script. Your AI Agents take multi-step actions: they draft documents, coordinate with other agents, prepare purchase orders, and route tasks — then check in with you before anything consequential goes out.
What if the channel goes down?
If one channel is unavailable, you can reach your agents on any of the other three. The agents themselves don't live inside WhatsApp or Google Chat — those are just the interface. The underlying AI team operates independently of any single messaging provider.
