Use Cases
Connected Spaces for Hospitality
How restaurants, hotels, and hospitality groups can bring menus, suppliers, scheduling, and marketing together through scoped custom work, with qualifying IP ownership from subscription month 13.
Running a restaurant or hospitality group means managing menus, scheduling staff, and coordinating food vendors — in three different systems that don't talk to each other. Connected Spaces can bring those pieces together in an agreed custom implementation with qualifying IP ownership starting in subscription month 13.
The Three Problems That Cost You Time and Money
Disconnected POS and Ordering
Your POS records every sale. It doesn't automatically feed your inventory count or alert your supplier when stock runs low. You find out a protein is short at service — not the morning before. Your systems collect data that never connects, so supply decisions end up resting on memory and intuition.
Manual Supplier Management
Vendor relationships live in your phone and your email inbox. Quotes arrive by text. Invoices get filed in a folder. There is no structured process for comparing bids, no cost ledger your manager can act on, and no record of why you chose one supplier over another. When a price spikes, you have no documented history to push back with.
Scattered Marketing
Your Google Business Profile, your Instagram, and your email list are managed in separate places with no connection to what's actually happening at your location. Promotions are manual. Review responses happen days late, or not at all. Marketing runs on whatever time is left at the end of the shift.
How Connected Infrastructure Solves Each Problem
Menu operations with cost integration. Build and manage your menu with pricing tied to your supplier costs. When an ingredient price changes, your margin visibility updates. Your existing POS stays in place; we don't replace it. Square, Toast, Clover and Olo all give us a way in; the link is part of the Business Partnership plan.*
Supplier management with structured bidding. Send structured bid requests to your suppliers, compare responses side by side, and log every purchase against a cost ledger. No more chasing quotes by text. Your procurement history is documented and searchable. AI Agents draft the comparison — you award the contract.
Local marketing, connected to your operation. Expert humans manage your Google Business Profile, respond to reviews, and keep your social content publishing consistently — drafting and queueing posts for your approval. When your team runs a promotion, the marketing reflects it.
Day in the Life: The 8:30 AM Catering Save
An illustrative example of what a plan can include. It is not a standing feature of every plan, and a person approves every step that matters.
A last-minute catering call arrives before your doors open. Here is how it could go.
8:28 AM — AI FrontDesk. An AI voice agent answers the catering inquiry, captures the full order details — guest count, date, menu items — and confirms that inventory will be checked before any commitment is made.
8:29 AM — cnx-operations. cnx-operations checks the order against the stock counts your team keeps, such as a count your manager updates. It flags a protein shortfall for the order volume and drafts a supplier request to cover the gap — queued for your review, not sent on its own.
8:31 AM — cnx-workforce. Based on the catering volume, cnx-workforce drafts an updated prep schedule adding two hours to the next morning's prep shift. The draft waits for manager approval before anything is published.
9:15 AM — Manager approval. You open the approvals queue. Confirm the catering order, send the supplier request, publish the updated schedule. Customer is confirmed by 10:00 AM. The entire coordination happened while you were running your morning opening.
Every cnx-* AI Department is set up by expert humans with limits on what it can see and do. A person approves anything consequential, and there is a way to stop it.
We Work Around Your Systems. We Don't Replace Them.
Your POS (Square, Toast, Clover), your suppliers, and your marketing keep working the way they do today. We build the pieces around them: supplier bids, a cost ledger, scheduling drafts, and marketing that follows what you do. Any link to your POS or ordering tool is part of the Business Partnership plan.* Qualifying custom IP ownership starts in subscription month 13, with transferable custom work and dependencies agreed for your engagement.
* Some tools take longer and need a workaround. Connecting your tools is part of the Business Partnership plan. Tool names belong to their owners; naming one means we can work with it, not that they endorse or certify us. See what we connect.
Ownership and support choices
The same plan stays at the same price in year two. You may stay, choose a lower plan or leave with transferable work; CNX maintenance ends on departure. Agree the custom inventory, retained platform components, dependencies and handoff process. CNX remains accountable for agreed delivery; client business approvals and configured tool controls are separate.
