How Billing Works
Understand CNX's monthly plan fee, separate kickoff invoice, additional costs and billing management without assuming plan-change or proration terms.
CNX plans have a monthly fee and a separate one-time Architecture Kickoff Fee. Review the costs and billing details for your engagement before proceeding.
Monthly plan fees
- Foundation: $500/month.
- Marketing Support: $1,000/month.
- Marketing Leadership: $3,000/month.
- Business Partnership: from $5,000/month, scoped through a consultation.

The kickoff invoice is separate
The one-time Architecture Kickoff Fees are $1,500 for Foundation, $2,500 for Marketing Support, $7,500 for Marketing Leadership and $15,000 for Business Partnership. Custom is scoped separately.
CNX issues the kickoff fee through a separate invoice. It is not collected by the self-serve subscription checkout. Confirm the invoice sequence, amount due now and recurring start for your engagement.
Other costs
Provider and usage charges, advertising spend, and supplier or production costs are separate from the plan fee. Confirm the relevant charges and agreed service limits alongside your scope.
Premium vendor coordination does not include the supplier's printing or video charges. You approve budgets, contracts, proofs and material changes.
Manage billing
In your CNX dashboard, open Settings, then Billing, and select Manage Billing to open the Stripe Customer Portal. Review the options and confirmation details available for your subscription. The Billing panel also provides access to invoices and billing history.
Contact CNX if the option you need is unavailable or the engagement has individually agreed scope. Before changing plans, confirm the effective date, work already in progress, recurring price and any billing adjustment. This guide does not define universal upgrade, downgrade or proration mechanics.
Year two and ownership
Ownership of qualifying customer-specific custom IP starts in month 13 of the subscription. It is not timed from build completion.
In year two, the same plan continues at the same price. You can stay, choose a lower plan or leave with your transferable work. CNX maintenance ends on departure. Agree the transferable inventory, dependencies and handoff process; ownership does not automatically reduce your bill or remove provider costs.
