How We Compare
Compare actual scope, responsibility, transferable custom work and ongoing costs across tools, custom builds and managed services.
Compare the work, responsibility, ownership terms and full costs of each option. A tool subscription, custom development and managed service can solve different needs.
Questions to ask every provider
- What work is included, and who is responsible for delivering it?
- Which tools, accounts and dependencies remain outside that scope?
- What custom work can transfer, and when?
- What costs continue, and who maintains the work after departure?
- Which permissions and approvals govern actions taken for your business?
Read each provider's actual terms. Tool subscriptions and agencies have different ownership and export policies; a category name does not establish what you keep.
CNX's responsibility
CNX coordinates specialists, tools and AI agents and remains accountable for agreed delivery. Foundation establishes the agreed business foundation. Marketing Support carries out an agreed plan; Marketing Leadership adds direction and priorities. Business Partnership and Custom are scoped through a conversation.
Grove has its own product journey. Product access does not automatically include a custom implementation or CNX-managed service.
Ownership and ongoing cost
Qualifying customer-specific custom IP ownership starts in subscription month 13. Agree the transferable inventory, retained platform components, third-party dependencies and handoff process.
In year two, the same plan stays at the same price. You can continue, choose a lower plan or leave with transferable work. CNX maintenance ends on departure.
The Architecture Kickoff Fee is invoiced separately from subscription checkout. Provider and usage charges, advertising spend, and supplier or production costs are separate. Compare actual scope and costs rather than assuming guaranteed savings or complete provider independence.
Governance and business approvals
Agents operate within permitted tools and authority. You approve business decisions such as budgets, contracts, production proofs and material changes. CNX remains accountable for agreed quality; client approvals are not a replacement for delivery responsibility.
